[Quick and Easy Recipe] How to Easily French Toast!!

Ingredients 6 Servings

  • 2 eggs
  • cup of milk
  • Bread
  • granulated sugar
  • cinnamon
  • salt


  • Crack two large eggs into a pie plate and break them up before you add a quarter of a cup of milk, you can also use cream or half-and-half. Add one teaspoon of granulated sugar as well as 1/8 of a teaspoon or 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon just a pinch of salt even and a quick splash of vanilla. Whisk these ingredients together.
  • get a frying pan over medium-high heat, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil as well as just a little pat of butter.
  • make sure that your butter and oil are hot before you add in your first piece of French toast, your pan will be ready for your French toast when they’re just starting to turn golden.
  • dip your bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides and then add it to your pan.
  • Let this for a couple minutes until it gets nice and golden brown. Don’t be tempted to move your bread around just make sure that it is nice and golden brown and then you can go ahead and flip it over and cook it on the other side again for a minute or two just until those bubbles around the outside simmer down.
  • Before you add a new one add just a little bit more butter and vegetable oil to your pan between each slice and continue frying up the rest of your French toast.
  • If you’re feeling extra decadent that’s the top with a little bit of powdered sugar if you’d like you can serve these with fried eggs and bacon on the side or if you want just like a small bowl of French fruit would be delicious.
